Perrys Profile
I am a landscape architect with practical skills and a passion for creating sustainable outcomes - you might say I'm a big-picture thinker with an eye for detail!
I help land owners and land management agencies to build rich, sustainable and valuable places and communities by getting creative solutions approved and constructed. I undertake projects large and small statewide, where I can help clients maximise the value of places, property and people.
Some of the hallmarks of my work are that I like to create landscapes that integrate art and sculpture, making evident the layers of a site's history and the richness of the community and environment that has created it.
Also I employ natural ecological processes where possible to create landscapes with low embodied energy, biological diversity and a long life, using permaculture design principles as appropriate.
I have a wide network of specialist consultants such as building designers and architects, ecologists, horticulturists, engineers, and graphic designers, who contribute to projects as associates as needed.
Since 2014 I have been a sessional lecturer at Deakin University in the Masters of Landscape Architecture stream, specialising in planting design.
Can I help you devise a creative solution, and assist you through the process of getting it built?
